One of the leading American entertainers of the 20th century, Jack Benny was known for his comic timing and his ability to get laughs with either a pause or a single expression, such as his signature phrase "Well!" His radio and television programs, tremendously popular in the 1940s and '50s, were a large influence on the situation comedy of today. CD1 contains 53 programs from 1937 and 1938. More CDs of Jack to come.
